The Spacious GMC Acadia Offers Three Rows of Seating

The GMC Acadia is a midsized SUV with three rows of seating that is great for Missouri families and comes with many standard safety and technology features.

What's New in 2024

The mid-sized GMC Acadia underwent a significant refresh for 2024. You now have one powerful engine throughout the trim models and an increase in size. This three-row SUV comfortably seats up to seven passengers and has plenty of room for luggage when you and your tribe go on a road trip. A slew of standard technology and safety features keep it safe and enjoyable.

Performance

New for 2024 is the 2.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine generates 328 horsepower. This engine is available throughout the Acadia trim models and is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission. The Acadia gets an EPA-estimated 27 mpg on the highway and 20 mpg in the city while driving around Cameron.

You can get your GMC Acadia in front- or all-wheel drive. The Acadia has up to seven available drive modes. The front-wheel drive modes are Normal, Performance, Snow, Off-Road, and Tow/Haul. The all-wheel drive model adds an AWD mode. The AT4 off-road enhanced trim model of the GMC Acadia also adds a crawling mode to simulate the low gearing ratio that a two-speed transfer case would provide. Every Acadia can tow up to 5,000 pounds. The AT4 trim model also adds increased ground clearance, skid plates, an off-road-tuned suspension, and dark wheels with all-terrain tires.

Interior and Exterior Design

The 2024 GMC Acadia's size was increased. The Acadia now has a 10.6-inch longer wheelbase and is 3.2 inches taller. Due to the GMC Acadia's growth spurt, everyone has plenty of room as you cruise around Hamilton, MO. The three rows seat seven passengers and have captain's chairs in the second row. What's also standard is a power liftgate and heated front seats. Interior features include a panoramic moonroof, ventilated seating, and leather upholstery.

Technology

The standard infotainment system is 15 inches in length diagonally and has Google built-in. Also, the standard is an 11-inch digital instrument panel. The standard, premium Bose audio system has 12 speakers. If that isn't enough, a 16-speaker sound system by Bose is available. Available technology includes a 360-degree camera system with nine camera views for safety around Excelsior Springs. The available heads-up display will help you focus on the road when navigating. The GMC Acadia also provides information on your current speed and warnings from the safety system in tandem with audible warnings.

Safety

The GMC Acadia has extensive standard safety features. There is a lane-keeping assistant with a lane-departure warning, a blind-zone alert, automated emergency frontal braking with a frontal collision alert, and a rear-parking warning system. Super Cruise, GMC's hands-free driver assistance technology for use on over 400,000 miles of U.S. and Canadian roads, is an available safety feature.
